CIMA Sri Lanka and SLASSCOM (The Sri Lanka Association of Software and Service Companies) have come together to collaborate on joint events and continuous professional development training, thereby providing opportunities for their respective members to enhance their skills and knowledge. 

This collaboration would have CIMA and SLASSCOM jointly working on propagating technology developments to the Sri Lankan community in the BPO/BPM and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) industries that impact the finance profession, and CIMA would assist with capacity and skills development of the BPO and other sectors affiliated to SLASSCOM through their respective forums through thought leadership and research published by CIMA.

‘A conversation with Shared Service Giants across Asia Pacific’, the first in a series of joint programs, will be held on Wednesday, 7 April, at 11:30 a.m. (IST) via Zoom. Join them to find out the skills required in the new digital world including competencies needed and how to be trained to meet the demands of the industry and profession in 2021 and beyond.

Featured speakers at the program will be, The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants Regional Vice President Venkkat Ramanan, FCMA, CGMA, The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants EVP of Global Markets Irene Teng, and SLASSCOM Chair/ PwC Sri Lanka Chief Operating Officer/Advisory Leader Channa Manoharan, who will be joined by Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Malaysia GBS Service Delivery Head Yasmin bt. Mohd Ramzi, FCMA, CGMA, and SLASSCOM BPM Form Lead Shanaka Fernando, as well as other panellists from across APAC region.
