Bileeta Ltd., a leading provider of ERP solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Women’s Research (CENWOR) to introduce user-friendly ERP solutions tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in rural Sri Lanka.
This collaboration is set to be initiated with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) under its Global Environment Facility /Small Grants Program (GEF/SGP) in the Mannar landscape, Sri Lanka.
Driven by its commitment to empowering women with innovative technology, Bileeta is spearheading the project titled “Bridging Women Producers to Markets – Mannar Landscape.”
This initiative aims to foster social enterprise development by targeting both existing and potential social enterprises within the Mannar Landscape. Bileeta will conduct a comprehensive business analysis and customise the ERP solution to meet the specific needs of the dry-fish and Palmyra industries in this landscape. The ERP application will be deployed to manage production and supply processes for selected SMEs. Beyond technology implementation, Bileeta will mentor and provide operational guidance to these women entrepreneurs, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary for sustainable growth.
The project aligns with Bileeta’s tagline, “Humanising Technology,” by ensuring that rural SMEs are not left behind in the digital revolution. By equipping these enterprises with Bileeta’s cutting-edge technology, CENWOR aims to launch a socially impactful, technology-driven initiative contributing to Sri Lanka’s national economic growth.
