DeltaSpike recognised as Malaysia’s Cybersecurity Outreach Provider of the Year

DeltaSpike was awarded the CyberSecurity Outreach Provider of the Year at Malaysia Cyber Security Awards for its impactful contributions to CyberSecurity Malaysia’s (CSM) advancements in modern hyper-automated security operation use cases. 

Its work demonstrates how security operations can be effectively managed by an automated security operation platform, with the right people and processes in place, enabling organisations to mitigate security threats with rapid response times, regardless of the cybersecurity products currently deployed.

In addition to receiving the prestigious award, DeltaSpike also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CyberSecurity Malaysia on industry collaboration framework and implementation of cybersecurity initiatives.

DeltaSpike Director Shihan Annon said: “The recognition from CyberSecurity Malaysia and signing of the MoU are significant milestones that will enable broader industry collaboration, facilitating knowledge sharing and R&D for the greater good. We at DeltaSpike look forward to such initiatives.”

This MoU is essential for the industry players and CyberSecurity Malaysia to work towards a common goal and contribute to a safer and secure cyberspace realm.

Malaysia Cyber Security Awards was held as part of Cyber Digital Services, Defence and Security Asia (CYBERDSA) 2024 in August at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), with the support of the Digital Ministry and Defence Ministry of Malaysia. 

The Malaysia Cyber Security Awards, established to recognise individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to the country’s cyber and information security sectors. These prestigious awards honour recipients for their innovation, dedication, leadership in industry products and services, and strategic business acumen.

The award’s aim was not only to acknowledge the achievements of information security professionals, local SMEs, and global organisations but also to foster innovation and encourage strategic partnerships within Malaysia’s security and ICT industries. This initiative underscores the critical role and expansion of information security within Malaysia’s dynamic ICT landscape.
