FITIS enables digital solutions for companies

The Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS), the apex body of the ICT industry, has launched a series of corporate webinars under the theme ‘Ask FITIS for Your Digital Solutions’ for C-Level participants of companies to engage in a virtual conversation with tech leaders who are members and partners of FITIS.

FITIS Chairman Abbas Kamrudeen said: “From a long term point of view we would like to see effective use of technology within every element of the economy, be it public sector, private sector, exporters, SMEs or the general public, which will result in a contribution of 7% growth to our GDP over the next three years and accelerate digital adoption within our companies. Keeping this in mind, we have launched a series of corporate webinars for C-level participants of companies to discuss their digital demands with our partners to help realise how companies could reach higher potential with their digital journey.”

FITIS CEO Aruna Alwis said: “COVID-19 has destined the change in the technological landscape of organisations across all industries. The need for transformation and speed of transformation is rippling to meet the demands of the market.
