H-Connect International appoints Deshaka Perera as Chief Operating Officer

H-Connect International (a fully-owned subsidiary of The Hirdaramani Group), a leading provider of global Business Process Management (BPM) services, announced the appointment of Deshaka Perera as Chief Operating Officer.

Perera brings over 18 years of experience to H-Connect International. Prior to joining H-Connect International, Perera served WNS Global Services where he helped large multi-national companies transition their back-office functions to Sri Lanka and India.

Deshaka Perera has gained valuable strategic management and hands-on operational experience in leading, establishing and managing shared service centres, large-scale transformation programs, business process transitions and business process re-engineering across multiple industries and multi-national companies. In the most recent past he was instrumental in developing an IFRS17 shared services operating model for a large insurance company based out of the UK.

Academically Perera holds a Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in business and finance and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Bedfordshire. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute UK.

Perera in his new role as the Chief Operating Officer for H-Connect International Sri Lanka is confident of executing the company’s business strategy and driving the overall growth and performance of key business units and horizontal practices.
