IBSL partners with eArrow to digitise entire student lifecycle

The Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) has partnered eArrow, one of Sri Lanka’s top Web Base Enterprise solution providers, to digitise its overall Student Management Process.

With the eArrow student lifecycle management platform in place, IBSL’s entire student management process would become fully online. The application developed by eArrow helps to manage the end-to-end student lifecycle of a higher educational and academic environment from the registration and certification of a student. The platform includes fully digitised historical and current records of a student and a comprehensive operational management platform for the institution. 

The agreement was signed and project was inaugurated at the IBSL head office at IBSL Towers, No. 80A, Elwitigala Mawatha Colombo 8 on 5 December. IBSL Director General C.P.A. Karunatilake, eArrow Ltd. Director/CEO Adheesha Salpitikorala and Director/COO Rajeew Perera were present at the occasion. 

Sharing his thoughts, Karunatilake said, “This project is going to be an iconic milestone for IBSL as the institution is going to have an advance environment after implementation of the system.” He added that the relationship between eArrow and IBSL would extend to technological partnership as well as ongoing support and assistance.

Salpitikorala commented, “The engagement between eArrow and IBSL is also a momentous occasion for eArrow as the signing of this agreement falls on the day of 17th anniversary of our company. IBSL being one of the largest higher education institutes in Sri Lanka, the partnership reflects the standards of the eArrow product and we are honoured to engage with such an esteemed organisation.”
