LakSHOP.lk recognised at National Best Quality Software Awards

LakSHOP.lk, one of the leading website building platform services in Sri Lanka, has been recognised for the top-quality engineering put behind making it, in the National Best Quality Software Awards, Sri Lanka, 2020. 

LakSHOP lets small business owners, corporates and associations setup their websites, without any programming skills. The user-friendly control panel automatically builds the website with provided details. The packages start from zero cost and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can leverage the features of the platform to acquire online market space.

The platform lets the businesses to link their domain, add products, set pricing and link the payment gateways to setup a complete online store with many other features. LakSHOP supports all payment gateways operating in Sri Lanka as well. Two graduates from University of Moratuwa, Chandana Bandara and Jayamihiri K. Bandara conceptualised and built the LakSHOP website building platform to achieve following key goals.

We want every business in Sri Lanka to have their websites ready and be visible,” LakSHOP Founder/CEO Chandana Bandara shared his vision towards making this product. “Making online presence should be easy and enjoyable,” he further added. LakSHOP was recognised previously in e-Swabhimani awards 2019 for the positive digital social impact made towards the society.
