MSI and The Technocity celebrate top channel partners at Excellence Awards 2024

MSI and its Sri Lankan distributor, The Technocity Ltd., honoured the country’s top-performing channel partners at the MSI-The Technocity Channel Excellence Awards 2024, held at the Cinnamon Grand. The event recognised nearly two dozen partners for their outstanding sales performance and contribution to expanding MSI’s market share over the past year.

The awards were classified into Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Emerging Partner categories, based on 2024 sales figures. With MSI maintaining its position as a leading global gaming component brand, the event underscored the company’s commitment to Sri Lanka’s growing gaming market.

MSI Sri Lanka Country Manager Sanjaya Adipathy, welcomed the partners and praised their dedication, particularly those who travelled from distant regions such as the North, East, and South East. Their presence, he noted, was a testament to the strength of MSI’s brand loyalty and partnerships in Sri Lanka.

The evening saw an attendance of nearly 200 partners, featuring a Q&A session, prize giveaways, and a showcase of MSI’s latest gaming innovations.

Attendees had the opportunity to experience new MSI gaming products, including the highly anticipated Nvidia RTX 5000 Series graphics cards and Intel 800 chip set motherboards, along with the latest OLED and other monitors. The Technocity Ltd., Managing Director Fahmy Ismail, highlighted MSI’s role as the company’s primary gaming component brand, reinforcing their long-standing partnership. Representatives from MSI’s Taiwan headquarters, Kevin Chung and Winter Lee, presented insights into MSI’s newest product lineup, sharing key updates on global trends and advancements. Concluding the event, The Technocity Ltd., Head of Distribution – Gaming Kadeer Ismath, delivered a vote of thanks before inviting partners to enjoy a cocktail dinner, celebrating another successful year of collaboration and growth in Sri Lanka’s gaming hardware market.
