MillenniumIT ESP, a leading provider of enterprise technology solutions, in collaboration with CyberArk, the identity security company, recently hosted a landmark event.

Titled “Next-gen identity security: Modernising PAM for comprehensive risk mitigation,” the event was held on 27 November 2024 at the Spice Room, Shangri-La Colombo. It brought together over 80 senior professionals from diverse industries, including Banking and Financial Services, Manufacturing and Retail, Telecommunications, and Government. The turnout reflected the increasing importance of adopting advanced measures to strengthen identity security.

The keynote address, delivered by CyberArk Vice President – Solution Engineers for Asia Pacific and Japan Jeffrey Kok, emphasised the critical need to modernise Privileged Access Management (PAM) to counter the rapidly evolving digital landscape. His presentation highlighted the role of Zero Trust security frameworks as a foundation for effective identity security and explored the complexities of managing privileges across hybrid environments, including both cloud and on-premise. His insights offered practical strategies for organisations to safeguard digital identities, resonating strongly with the attendees.
