National ICT Awards – NBQSA 2022 moves to judging stage with overwhelming number of applications

BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka Section announces that the National ICT Awards – NBQSA 2022 will make its way for the judging process, having received an overwhelming number of applications.

The judging process of NBQSA 2022 will commence in the month of August with the participation of an eminent panel of judges. Held as an annual event to recognise the ICT innovations, products and services developed by individuals and organisations, the 24th NBQSA awards ceremony will take place on 4 November.

National ICT Awards Chairman Sanharsha Jayatissa said, “We are highly excited by the overwhelming response from applicants who have identified NBQSA as a great platform to unveil their ICT innovations. With the large number of applications we have received, we expect to see a thrilling awards ceremony that also unleashes unique ICT products and innovations for the betterment of the country.”

BCS Sri Lanka Section Chairman Vajeendra S. Kandegamage stated, “It is great achievement to have received such a large number of applications for this year’s awards ceremony amidst the ongoing crisis situation in the country. It shows the extent to which the Sri Lankans have embraced this awards ceremony and their belief that it provides a great opportunity for them to thrive in the ICT field. We will indeed live up to their expectations and provide the necessary support and recognition for them to grow further.”
