The Board also announced the appointment of Noel Arokiam as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dxdy Digital Ltd., with effect from April.
An alumnus of Staffordshire University, the well-respected professional was previously with MillenniumIT, playing a pivotal role in project management and business strategy. He is expected to lead Dxdy Digital’s aggressive foray into Data Analytics, Automation and Software Development.
Commenting on the decision, Oensys Capital Ltd. Group CEO Faiq Faaiz said: “As Oensys Capital is expanding at a rapid pace, it has become necessary to optimise group synergies and resources, which is why we have rebranded Dxdy as Dxdy Digital Ltd., to manage our software, platform development, and related business under a single entity. We are also pleased to welcome our newly-appointed CEO, Noel Arokiam on-board, and believe he holds the right mix of industry experience and ambition to expand our global footprint further.”
Oensys Capital’s move to consolidate its business follows in the wake of its recent acquisition of new companies such as payment platform – Convenienza Ltd. and the incorporation of edutainment business KNOD Ltd., in Singapore earlier this year, as it was felt this move to concentrate its software business under one entity would serve to further strengthen the Group.
In the past, Dxdy has worked with some of the world’s largest digital agencies in the US and UK, now expanding to offer more software related services to newer markets such as Singapore, Scandinavia, and Australia. Dxdy was incorporated in 2015 as the Sri Lankan counterpart of The Small Axe, a digital agency based out of London, (UK). Given its success as a software provider and its strong partnerships in the United States and Europe the company was spun off as an independent entity providing software solutions and services in 2018. DxDy was subsequently acquired by Oensys Capital Ltd. in July of 2019 continuing its growth through partnerships in the US, UK and Australia.
Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Oensys Capital has grown steadily in the past years, starting with a team of three it now boasts a 75+ team members servicing sectors globally. Oensys also operates a fully owned subsidiary KNOD Ltd., based out of Singapore, which focuses on in house product development.
