Sri Lanka Telecom (Services) Ltd., a leading ICT systems integrator, has partnered with Samurdhi Bank to accelerate its digital transformation journey.
This strategic collaboration introduces ‘FinOps’, SLT-Services’ homegrown, locally developed digital core banking software, designed to modernise and optimise operations across Samurdhi Bank’s extensive network of over 900 branches nationwide over the five years.
The FinOps Digital Core Banking System, developed entirely by SLT-Services’ in-house team, is tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Sri Lanka’s financial institutions. This cutting-edge platform offers advanced features such as intuitive digital interfaces, seamless mobile application for field collections and automated workflows. Its robust security framework and modular architecture ensure adaptability and scalability, positioning it as the ideal solution for Samurdhi Bank’s expanding operations.
The implementation of FinOps has enabled Samurdhi Bank to deliver enhanced customer experiences through user-friendly tools, reduce manual processes with automation, and harness real-time analytics for informed decision-making. These advancements are expected to drive operational efficiency while reinforcing the bank’s position as a trusted financial partner in both rural and urban communities.
