Texonic Information Systems recently signed up with and Nimbus Cloud Services to host its cutting-edge Sapro Hospitality Management Platform. The agreement between Texonic Information Systems and Nimbus Clouds Lanka Ltd. was signed by Nimbus Clouds Lanka Ltd. Managing Director Damith Hettihewa and Texonic Information Systems Group Chairman Chaminda Senaratne.
The Sapro Hospitality Management ERP is a powerful hospitality platform that is designed to efficiently administer all common functions for any hotel or resort. It is a total solution for hotels incorporating front office and back office. It also has an automated sales engine which links the hotel’s special rates with travel agents. Currently Sapro serves customers in Sri Lanka, Singapore, Maldives, Myanmar, Thailand and Sierra Leone.
Speaking about the significance of signing with Nimbus Cloud Services, Chaminda Senaratne said: “The major benefits of the new Sapro product is that there is no investment up-front but only a monthly fee. Signing up with Nimbus Clouds was a great benefit for us.
“Monthly subscription fee based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) from Nimbus Cloud enabled us to offer monthly fee based platform service to our hospitality customers. As a result, hotels do not require to buy servers or maintain IT server rooms. The property can be managed from anywhere in the world by simply accessing the Sapro hospitality platform through the internet.”
