Singer wins Best Distributor in South Asia from Dell Technologies

Singer Sri Lanka PLC, the country’s premier consumer durables retailer, won the Best Regional Distributor of the Year and Best Distributor of the Year – Sri Lanka Awards at Dell Technologies South Asia CSB Partner Connect event for the year 2021. 

The virtual event was held to review the regional performances of distributors in 2020, with the participation of Dell Technologies Asia Emerging Markets Vice President Anothai Wettayakorn, and several other dignitaries from Dell Technologies and regional distributors.

Singer emerged victorious within the region, beating intrepid competition from regional countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar, Singapore, Brunei, Mongolia, etc. These twin awards reiterate Singer’s exceptional contribution to drive the laptop business forward during 2020, a year filled with a string of challenges.

The virtual event also featured a fireside chat where Singer Sri Lanka PLC Group CEO Mahesh Wijewardene and Singer Sri Lanka PLC Marketing Director Shanil Perera, in conversation with Dell Technologies Asia Emerging Markets Vice President Anothai Wettayakorn, shared Singer’s success story to becoming the leading distributor for Dell Technologies within the region.
