Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT) won Gold award under Telecommunication category at the 55th Annual Report Awards 2019, for the company’s annual report for the year 2018. The awards ceremony was held at the Shangri-La hotel recently.The Annual Report Awards organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), is recognised as one of the country’s most prestigious and oldest corporate events which promotes transparency, accountability, social responsibility and corporate governance among the diverse business sector.

The award was accepted by SLT Group Chief Finance Officer Sanjeewa Samaranayake together with SLT Deputy Chief Financial Officer Upali Mahamithawa, on behalf of the company.
