Maturify, a product incubated by start-up accelerator StartupX Foundry, swept up a Silver in its inaugural year of participation at the National ICT Awards (NBQSA) 2019. The intelligent knowledge management platform was awarded in the Professional Services Solutions in Business Services category.
“This recognition at NBQSA is a great milestone for Maturify. As a product that addresses a very specific issue faced by corporates, one that is not easy to solve, Maturify’s journey has been full of ups and downs. Our small yet determined team has worked incredibly hard to bring the product to where it is today and a recognition such as this is a timely indicator that we are on the right track,” observed Maturify Founder Hasith Yaggahavita.
StartupX Foundry is no stranger to NBQSA, with more of its incubated startups being recognised in previous years. This includes food traceability solution Tracified, which won Gold in the Retail and Supply Chain Management category in 2017.
“We at StartupX Foundry are proud of the Maturify team on winning this achievement. Maturify is a unique product and importantly, has been able to avoid the rut that most Lankan startups fall into – focusing only on the Sri Lankan market – by acquiring both local and global clients. This global focus together with the team’s technological expertise spells a winning equation for Maturify,” stated StartupX Foundry Program Manager Aloka Gunasekara.
Maturify is a knowledge management platform that focuses on taking static information that remains under-utilised in most corporates and transforming it into a lively hub of knowledge for employees. Its small yet dynamic team works tirelessly to fuse gamification with an intelligent platform to encourage employees to keep learning continuously. It is powered by the start-up accelerator StartupX Foundry, a venture by software product engineering specialist, 99X Technology.
StartupX Foundry is a tech start-up accelerator dedicated to honing Sri Lankan technological ventures with potential and taking them from inspiration to exit – and vitally, helping them reach the global marketspace. It is powered by a dynamic ecosystem of both local and international talent, investors and start-up personalities to provide the tools necessary to take an idea, forge it into a viable product or service and take it to market.
