Techwire Lanka clinches awards at NBQSA 2020

The National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) provides recognition to the outstanding achievement of individuals and organisations in Sri Lanka that have developed high-quality ICT products. This is a great opportunity to gain local and international recognition for local ICT products while standardising them to gain an international exposure. 

Techwire Lanka Ltd, which was established in 2015 by a team of young dynamic IT specialists has transformed itself from a small technology startup into an innovation company that caters to constantly evolving requirements of the industrial automation specialty. Today, Techwire Lanka is the foremost organisation for the power industry of its kind on the island, with the vision of becoming the leading cloud-native solution software partner in Asia. Techwire specialises in building modern, state-of-the-art, hi-tech tools for industrial corporations around the world.

National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) identified Techwire Lanka as a quality software provider by awarding it with three prestigious awards. Techwire Lanka was awarded the Gold award for its software product, Techwire Cloud Scada under the category of Industrial Resources, Energy Utilities. Apart from this award, the ‘Promis’ software and ‘Eagle View’ system were awarded Bronze under the Industry Supply Chain Logistic, and Industrial Manufacturing and Construction categories respectively.  

For those three products and services, Techwire Lanka has been nominated by the British Computer Society (BCS) to represent Sri Lanka at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA) which will be held in Malaysia) this year. In 2019 also, Techwire was honoured with the Best Data Analytics Technology Award under the Industrial category, supply chain, and Logistics for the Coal Pal project – a product introduced to LTL Holdings and the Ceylon Electricity Board to make the Sri Lankan energy sector more driven through energy efficiency. All the software solutions provided by Techwire have an immense commitment to matching the standardisation of the organisation.
