The International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations, will conduct a webinar customised for Sri Lankan SMEs with the objective of enhancing export market analysis skills tomorrow at 2.30 p.m.
The 30-minute online session followed by Q&A will discuss ITC’s Trade Map that helps developing countries like Sri Lanka unlock the rapidly growing services economy and assist local SMEs enhance awareness of trends and competing actors internationally. The ITC trainer will introduce participating SMEs to Trade Maps trade in services module which empowers SMEs already exporting or intending to export services make better business decisions. The webinar will be presented by Christophe Durand from ITC. Durand oversees implementation of trade in services data in Trade Map. ITC assists small and medium-sized enterprises in developing and transition economies to become more competitive in global markets, thereby contributing to sustainable economic development within the frameworks of the Aid-for-Trade agenda and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
