VSIS clinches Sales Excellence awards for HP in Sri Lanka

VS Information Systems Ltd. (VSIS) was recognised as the ‘Best Corporate Reseller 2019’ at the recently-concluded HP Inc annual award ceremony themed ‘Gentlemen Beyond Boundaries – 2019’ held at the Weligama Bay Marriot Resort & Spa. VSIS was recognised as the ‘Best Corporate Reseller’ for the fifth consecutive year. 

The annual award ceremony is organised by HP Inc every year to recognise the extraordinary sales and leadership efforts of their authorised resellers and service providers in Sri Lanka. The event was attended by over 100 resellers and service providers along with representatives from HPI in Sri Lanka and New Delhi. 

In addition to corporate recognition, individual recognition awards also were introduced by HPI for the first time in this year. The ‘Leadership Recognition Award – 2019’ was awarded to VSIS Director Saman Silva, for the exceptional leadership effort to make the year 2019 a remarkable sales year for HPI as well as VSIS. 

VSIS Senior Manager, Business Development Dinethra Ekanayake secured the ‘Sales Recognition Award – 2019’ for her outstanding sales performance in the corporate sector. 

“We thank all our loyal customers who made these achievements possible and also these awards recognise the untiring effort of VSIS team, and we are really proud to have such a wonderful team with us,” said Silva. Silva is a co-founder of VSIS who counts more than 25 years as a senior sales professional in the ICT industry in Sri Lanka. 

“It’s a great personal achievement being recognised as a best salesperson by the leading global brand of HP,” said Ekanayake, who has a proven track record of sales along with developing, enhancing and retaining customer relationships. She was thankful for the guidance of VSIS leadership and the tremendous support of her colleagues.
