From venturing out in 2017, Venture Beyond has embarked on an excitingjourney to make waves in revolutionising technology products and services for a specific clientele.
“We pride ourselves in using technology to find sustainable human-centric solutions for development and humanitarian issues,” emphasises Venture Beyond (VB) Managing Director Himaddrini Ranasinghe Abayanayake.
She said VB prides itself in delivering innovative solutions to make development, humanitarian and non-profit work more effective.
“Weare a start-up, which can customise solutions for clients based on their specific requirements. Industry 4.0 has a very big impact on all sectors, all over the world and it’s changing the way we do things. The non-profit sector is no different. VB firmly believes that success lies beyond the comfort zone. Therefore, VB can assist the development, non-profit and humanitarian sector to widen the horizons and achieve goals by harnessing emerging technologies,” she added.
VB ispartnering with international as well as local partners to constantly research, produce and improve solutions using mobile technologies, apps, blockchain and 3D-printing for community development projects. Thestart-up is also discussing with capable and globally recognised partners to look at ways of using robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the non-profit sector in Sri Lanka.VB has already developed a medical app that is useful for multiple users; it can be used in community development projects, by staff of non-profit and UN agencies, as well as anyone with a smartphone.
VB is of the opinion that the development and humanitarian sectors should be early adopters of technology to ensure an inclusive and dignified future for all communities. Starting from Sri Lanka, VB intends to become a trusted partner for international organisations in the non-profit sector worldwide.
