WIA Systems assists its USA customers on value creation through modern technology

WIA Systems Co-Founder and CEO Chamil Wijenayaka figured in a panel discussion at IFS Customer Conference 2022 – IFS Unleashed in Miami Florida. WIA participated in the event as a Platinum Sponsor of the event.

Chamil stated that technology today is commonly interwoven into every business function and is a key enabler of value creation and that it is important that you take a structured approach towards creating business value through technology. 

You would need to start with the company’s strategic business plan, business goals and related KPIs. It is essential that the strategic business plan is targeted towards value creation in the first place. Once a shared set of KPI are derived, technology can be the enabler towards achieving the KPI’s resulting in tangible value creation.  

He highlighted that WIA runs a Business Value workshop with the customer. The workshop is a highly interactive and collaborative session. The team runs through the business goals and the AS-IS Business KPI. WIA experts shared with the customer the Best Practice Industry KPIs based on WIA’s extensive project experience in focus industries.  

The benefit of change from current state to future state is discussed to arrive at a set of KPIs that can navigate the company into the desired future. The outcome of the workshop is an improvised set of Business KPIs that will drive the company from Current State to the Improved Future State. 

WIA guides the customer to pick the right set of system processes and technology towards achieving the set KPI.
