Abans recognised as Dell’s ‘most valuable business partner’ in South Asia

Abans was the proud recipient of the prestigious award for the ‘Most Valuable Business Partner’ in South Asia, at the Dell South Asia Channel Summit 2014, held at the Equarius Hotel in Singapore amidst a large gathering of distinguished invitees and Dell Partners from the South Asian region. The Dell South Asia Channel Summit has been designed to allow all of Dell’s valued CXO distributors and channel partners to participate in the General Session, Enterprise and Storage Solutions Sessions, EUC and DSG Solutions Sessions, Retail GTM Strategy Discussions, etc. The event is also focused on the convergence of business and technology issues, information and best-practice sharing among the channel community. It provides an opportunity for Dell’s partners to learn more about industry trends and the possible impact on future technology and solutions. The highlight of the event is the annual recognition awards to outstanding distributors and channel partners. Abans’ recognition as Dell’s ‘Most Valuable Business Partner’ in South Asia comes in the wake of the tremendous contribution they have made to position Dell as the IT market leader in Sri Lanka and the growth of Dell business in diversified areas. Abans is a Premier Business Partner for Dell, covering the entire range of Dell products and services to their numerous Sri Lankan customers. Abans is by far the largest contributor for Dell business in Sri Lanka, averaging about $ 14 million annually and selling nearly 50,000 notebooks and desktops.
