Bileeta’s Sanka Weerasinghe adjudged People Leader in IT for 2015

Bileeta Ltd. Chief Technology Officer/Chief Architect Sanka Weerasinghe was adjudged the People Leader IT 2015 at the recently-concluded IPM Sri Lanka National HR conference. This conference, held in partnership with the Computer Society of Sri Lanka, is the largest and most prestigious national HR event to be held in this country.

Weerasinghe received this award in recognition of his contribution towards promoting sound and vibrant people management practices in the world of work. “This is such an honour to me and my company,” said Weerasinghe. “It is also a reflection of the dedication and integrity of everyone who works at Bileeta and I am blessed to be able to lead such an incredible team.”

This year’s conference focused on the role of HR in ushering in national prosperity and created an HR fraternity to deliberate on insights, initiatives and implications of people management practices to benefit the country at large.
