Celebrated technology show INTEROP globally launched in Colombo

The INTEROP technology show which was held on 4 and 5 September at Waters Edge, Battaramulla, had an overwhelming response, not just from the technology leaders but also from key associations and media representatives.
The show witnessed the presence of more than 500 technology enthusiasts from across industries. Key representatives from ISACA, SLASSCOM, FITIS, FCCISL, BICSI and iSPA generously supported the event.
INTEROP Colombo, a conference plus expo, gave the Sri Lankan technology business leaders the platform to hear from worldwide technology leaders, learn about new products, and meet technology vendors from across borders. The conference program was designed around key themes that are driving business technology market in the country.

Quality content which is the trademark of the Interop Conference was powered by an eclectic mix of eminent global and Sri Lankan technology leaders. Influential luminary like Praveer Vohra, former President and Group CTO, ICICI Bank and Alpna J. Doshi, Group CIO, Reliance Group, along with some key Sri Lankan leaders like Ramesh Shanmuganathan , Group CIO, John Keells Holdings and Parakum Pathirana, Head of IT Security and Compliance/Principal Consultant – LOLC Technologies; Vice President – ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter added sparkle to the sheen.
With technology giants showcasing some of their key products and services, the exhibition floor was buzzing with ideas and interaction involving key decision makers, press and analysts.
INTEROP, the 28-year-old technology show organised by the biggest live media brand UBM, has grown into a global brand by addressing key technology areas significant to business success with its presence in Las Vegas, Tokyo, New York and Mumbai. With a keen eye to cover more ground, last week, INTEROP embarked upon Sri Lanka seeing its global promise of IT leads and business success.
