CICRA launches Ethical Hackers’ Forum of Sri Lanka

In a move to unite cyber security professionals in the country, Ethical Hackers’ Forum of Sri Lanka has been established. Inauguration and first sessions of the forum will be held on 4 June at 6 p.m. in Colombo, facilitator of the forum CICRA Consultancies Ltd announced yesterday. CICRA master trainer and CEO, AKATI Consulting Group, Malaysia Krishna Rajagopal and Microsoft Corporation South East Asia Markets Corporate Attorney Shalini Ratwatte will deliver guest speeches during the forum. “CICRA firmly believes this forum would provide a space for interaction for cyber security professionals to share their knowledge and experience which ultimately serves for the strengthening of the cyber security sphere in Sri Lanka,” CICRA Consultancies Ltd (CICRA) Director/CEO Boshan Dayaratne said. “The Forum will be open for every Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) who wants get a touch into the latest knowledge, trends, challenges and opportunities of the world of cyber security,” Dayaratne added. “While those who possess C|EH can be full members, associate membership is open for others who are working in the IT Industry University students can also join,” he said. “Pre-registration is necessary to participate in the forum through our website www.cicra.lk. We encourage those who are interested to register early as seats are limited. Preference will be given to those with C|EH,” Dayaratne said. CICRA is Sri Lanka’s pioneering cyber security training and consultancy organisation. It is an accredited training center of International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council), a USA based world leader in non-vendor specific cyber security certifications. EC-Council is the certification authority for C|EH qualification. The full members of the forum will earn EC-Council Continuing Education (ECE) credits for participating in the sessions.
