The local team at Creative Solutions assigned to work on the Pagero Project
Pagero is headquartered in Sweden, and helps businesses to streamline operations throughout the entire order-to-pay process. Currently over 10,000 customers in 40 countries benefit from Pagero’s services and their roaming agreements reach over 500,000 companies worldwide. Creative Solutions has had a team working with Pagero since 2012. With the continued success of their products in the international market the Creative Solutions team in Sri Lanka has gradually expanded and it now carries out a substantial part of Pagero’s software development.
Commenting on the expansion of the Creative Solutions team Thom Birkeland, Vice President R&D at Pagero says, “Having the right people in place is critical for us to be able to continue improving our solutions and reinforce our position as the market leader in the order-to-pay software space. The Pagero team of software engineers at Creative Solutions is headed by Technical Project Manager Sajith Silva. Sajith started his career with Creative Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer and is a Java qualified professional with over 10 years of experience in all stages of the software development life cycle. In addition to managing the Pagero team, his assignments have included leading a project designing and developing a private-label contextual advertising platform.
Sajith says that by following agile methodologies and industry best practices Creative Solutions effectively functions as an extension of the overseas client’s software development teams. Keeping in sync and continuously communicating with clients is a key success factor as well. For Sajith that means visiting the Pagero head office in Sweden from time to time and keeping in close contact with the customer’s key stakeholders. “For example, all our meeting rooms are equipped with video conferencing equipment and I meet my overseas colleagues online on a daily basis,” said Sajith.
Looking to the future for Creative Solutions and his team, Sajith says, “We will continue to work closely with Pagero’s in-house software development staff to design and further develop advanced technology solutions for order-to-pay processes based on agile principles.”
