Motorola Inc has identified Crosspoint as tis largest enterprise mobility solutions partner in Sri Lanka with the highest market share in Sri Lanka and the Indian subcontinent, during last year.
In recognition of the achievement, Crosspoint received an award from Motorola at the recent Regional Partner Conference held in Beijing, China. Motorola Enterprise Mobility Business Division organised the partner conference to reflect on great achievements of 2010.
Crosspoint Business Solutions Ltd. approaches the market as a turnkey solutions provider in auto ID to selected market segments. The company primarily focuses on data capture and automation solutions in manufacturing, healthcare, distribution, apparel, retail and logistics segments using bar coding, RFID and RF identification technology.
Crosspoint provides RFID or barcode based technology strategy, systems design and architecture, applications implementation, network and systems integration, and related services that enables you to leverage technology for stronger return on investment and enhanced services to its customers.
Crosspoint has been promoted by directors with over 15 years of industry experience in ERP applications, auto ID, bespoke development skills and power management technology skills. Kusal Subasinghe (also a Director of Codegen Internal), Srijith De Silva (also a Director of Power Management Technologies) and Ravi Rajapakse are the Directors of the company.
Crosspoint is the pioneer in Sri Lanka, providing the country’s first commercial RFID solution to the tobacco manufacturing industry. Within a short period it has emerged as one of the leaders in providing complete Automatic Data Captures (ADC) solutions in the country and has some of the well-known names in the country on its client list.
John Keells Logistics Ltd., John Keells Marketing, Sri Lanka Telecom, Lion Beer, Fonterra, Cargills, Nielsen, Nestle and DFCC Bank are some of the top customers for which it provides ADC solutions.
Currently it is engaged in a project at SriLankan Airlines for an automated warehouse solution along with a Wi-Fi wireless monitoring/managing system named ‘Air Defense’ using Motorola products.
