Cyber Security Summit empowers tech-savvy university students

Several leading firms keen on corporate social responsibility recently came forward to equip tech-savvy university students with the latest knowledge on cyber security.

The recent Daily FT-CICRA organised Cyber Security Summit saw over 50 students from the Jaffna, Sabaragamuwa, Kelaniya, Sri Jayawardenepura and Colombo universities being enriched with presentations on cyber security threats and solutions from global and local experts as well as discussions on the future of the ICT industry in Sri Lanka and around the world.  The companies who enabled the participation of these students were CIC Holdings Plc, Citi Bank, Carson Cumberbatch Plc, Expolanka Holdings Plc, Vallibel One, Akbar Brothers, People’s Bank, HNB, Access Engineering and Pan Asia Bank.
