Dialog fully acquires wow.lk

The Dialog Axiata Group has fully acquired the ownership of wow.lk, the largest e-commerce website in the country.

Previously Dialog held 45.7% and recently via Group subsidiary Digital Holdings Lanka Ltd., bought the remaining 54.35%, for Rs. 248 million.

The balance acquisition was part of the original agreement between Dialog and the owners of wow.lk - Digital Commerce Lanka Ltd., co-founded by Thilan Wijesinghe. Following the exit, Wijesinghe will step down as Chairman as well.
