Global giant Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. recently unveiled a range of category-defining products in TVs, home appliances, printing and mobile devices at its South West Asia Forum in Bali, Indonesia. Among the new range were the world’s first curved UHD TV and colour laser printer series with NFC capabilities. Samsung also launched a tablet with the world’s first 12.2-inch WQXGA display. Via the launch Samsung demonstrated how it is bringing consumers seamless navigation, intuitive control and smart solutions into the home and workplace. Several products come with Samsung’s Digital Inverter Technology that provides significantly greater energy efficiency. “One of the key pillars of growth for the Southwest Asian market is the strong trust we have built with our customers and partners,” said B.D. Park, President and CEO, Samsung South West Asia which also includes Sri Lanka. “In 2014, Samsung will continue to achieve positive growth by providing our consumers with innovative products and technologies that will help consumers discover a world of possibilities.” Samsung’s other key products launched at its Southwest Asia Forum included 1) Samsung Food Showcase refrigerator, which combines clever internal storage design and innovative fridge technology to keep food fresher for longer. The new WA4000HH top-loader washing machine is specifically designed to meet the needs of Southwest Asian customers, and delivers groundbreaking performance with functional design latest technologies. The new air conditioner AR7000 is engineered to deliver exceptional cooling, comfort and hygienic benefits with a striking triangular design. 2)  Samsung’s 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets present mobile users with an industry-leading WQ-XGA display, offering crystal clear resolution with more than four million pixels, for a best-in-class tablet experience for both content consumption and powerful productivity. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO line is completed by the Galaxy TabPRO 10.1-inch and 8.4-inch. All Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets are running the most recent version of Android 4.4. 3) The NX30 interchangeable-lens camera has an advanced 20.3 MP APS-C CMOS Sensor, Tiltable Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) and exceptionally fast 1/8000 sec Shutter Speed and 9 FPS continuous shooting capability, to create high quality images with faster than ever performance. The NX30 features NFC and Wi-Fi capabilities — including the ‘Tag & Go’ function — that lets users tap to share memories instantly and easily when paired with NFC enabled mobile devices. Furthermore, the Galaxy Camera 2 captures images quickly and beautifully with revolutionary technology for instant sharing capabilities, thanks to its 16.3 effective megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 21x optical zoom lens, 1.6GHz Quad Core processor and the Android platform. 4)  The MX-HS9000 GIGA Sound, a portable component audio system offering 3400W of robust audio power. 5)  Picture Perfect 28-inch UD590 UHD Monitor: Consumers are now able to bring Samsung’s leading 4K UHD technology into the home with Samsung’s 28-inch UD590 UHD monitor, which provides four times the resolution of Full HD (FHD) displays. With a response time of 1ms, the UD590 displays movies, games and Internet-streamed content perfectly and smoothly without any blurring or ghosting for a completely immersive viewing experience. 6)  The Xpress C410 and C460, the world’s first colour laser printer series with NFC capabilities. Today at its Southwest Asia Forum, Samsung further proved its leadership in the mobile printing market by unveiling its new mono laser printer and multi-function printers, the Xpress M2885 Series, as well as its series of colour laser printer and multi-function printers, the Xpress C1860 Series.
