eDoctor.lk receives merit award at Best Web.lk competition 2015

BestWeb.lk 2015, the much anticipated contest to choose the best Sri Lankan website concluded recently for the sixth consecutive year. Launched in 2009, this competition is organised by the LK Domain Registry, with the objective of providing an exclusive opportunity to promote and popularise Sri Lankan websites. With prizes being awarded for nine main categories and four special categories, we are proud to announce that edoctor.lk won the merit award in the Commercial Category. It was a highlight of the event as they were the only ‘Medical’ website who emerged as a winner.

www.eDoctor.lk was judged upon technical criteria; completeness, navigation, standards and performance, design criteria; site design and page design; content criteria; quantity and quality, and interaction criteria which was assessed and marked based on the views of the judging panel. More over eDoctor team assures that the information shared in the website is safe and their security standards are up-to-date.  

www.edoctor.lk is Sri Lanka’s first online medical advisory service which was launched in 2012. They have a fully qualified, Sri Lankan registered doctor panel, who are ready to give you initial medical advice 24/7. The doctors can be contacted over the phone, by email or chat.

In addition to this valuable service, eDoctor is giving their members access to an online medical record storage system where they can store all their medical records and retrieve them from anywhere in the world. They have recently released an eDoctor app which can be downloaded from google play store or the app store so you can carry your health records at all times and access it from anywhere in the world.

As a new initiative, eDoctor have launched the ‘Pregnancy care health service’ which is a very useful service to ‘moms to be’ to receive periodical updates and tips about their pregnancy/ baby via the website.
