EPIC Lanka, one of the technology leaders in providing secure electronic payment solutions and IT systems security solutions to banks and corporate organisations in Sri Lanka and the region has signed up with the international strategy consultancy MTI to enable the organisation through an intensive strategising exercise. Established in 1998, Epic Lanka is committed to innovate, develop and implement world class IT solutions in secure electronic payments, information systems security, mobile enterprise automation and secure document personalisation. It also provides a seamless and prompt customer support service in maintaining the largest network of on-line real time payment processors in the country. This strategising project will be spearheaded by the MTI CEO Hilmy Cader and will be based on MTI’s 8S model which will be customised to Epic Lanka’s specific strategic circumstances. Developed in 1999, MTI’s 8S has continuously improved, benefiting the robust experience of over 150 strategic planning projects over diverse categories, countries and business challenges. It is a very comprehensive model that sequentially links the 8S with a range of models and formats that can be customised to client-specific needs. Each sub-module has a strong bottom-line focus and is supported by tools to ensure a bias for implementation. Speaking at the kickoff session Chairman/Managing Director of Epic Lanka Group Nayana Dehigama said: “We are proud to be the pioneers in implementing some of the mission critical IT solutions for several state organisations and leading corporate firms and are pleased to work with MTI Consulting who have impressive credentials in financial services and strategic planning, both in Sri Lanka and the region.” MTI Consulting is an international management consultancy, with operations across Asia and the Middle East and networked across the Americas, Africa and Europe.
