Etisalat Lanka first with IDD and Data facilities in one card

Introducing the Sri Lankan mobile subscriber to yet another first in the telecommunications industry, Etisalat Lanka recently launched the ‘One IDD’ card offering IDD together with Data benefits, focusing mainly on IDD customers using smartphones. The premium per-second rates allow them to be connected at all times without being constrained by cost concerns as customers will only be paying for the exact duration of the IDD call.

The service is available for Rs. 97 where customers receive Rs. 100 worth of IDD voice call benefit, Rs. 25 worth of IDD SMS, 300 MB of Data during the day time, 100 MB Data during night time, 10 local on net SMSs.

Speaking on the benefits of the product, Etisalat Lanka Chief Commercial Officer Yasser Aboul Amayem said, “Unrestricted communication is an important factor, be it from a business outlook where communication plays an integral role in day-to-day operations, or from a personal point of view. In addition to the availability of Voice and SMS facilities when overseas, we at Etisalat have worked towards offering services, rates and solutions to suit all our customer needs. With the new Data facility all our customer needs are met in a cost-effective manner.”
