Latest pre-paid package offering the best calling rates in Sri Lanka

Etisalat Lanka recently launched its latest voice offering: the ‘Super SIM’, at an event held in its Etisalat Flagship store, Colpetty. The ‘Super SIM’ is the first pre-paid package of its kind to be introduced in the Sri Lankan market and brings the best mobile rates to Etisalat customers by combining the benefits of the per second and the per minute billing. Super SIM brings Super Saver, a new pricing concept where users will be billed depending on the duration of each call. Each minute of the call will be charged on a per second rate if it is 48 seconds or less. If the call is between 48 to 60 seconds, the user will be charged on a per minute basis, resulting in significant savings up to 30% per call. Speaking at the launch, Etisalat Lanka acting CEO Wail Salman remarked: “There was a strong need by the Sri Lankan mobile consumer for a pre-paid package that would give them the most efficient call rates, and we at Etisalat are pleased to introduce the ‘Super SIM’ as a value addition to meet this identified need. This is our latest initiative in providing the best rates and services, reiterating our commitment to our customers.” Additionally, existing Etisalat pre-paid customers can also benefit of the ‘Super Saver’ concept by calling 1727 or by visiting any of our Flagship stores. Upon activation new users will also receive the benefit of a bonus of Rs. 100 after reloading the initial Rs. 100 or more.
