KBSL CTO Kaushala Lankadhikara receives the Best Regional Partner Award from Rudiger Lenz, VP Support International at Fortinet
Fortinet, the global leader in high-performance cybersecurity solutions, conducted its annual SAARC partner conference in Abu Dhabi and recognised top partners for their outstanding achievements in 2015. This year’s SAARC conference was attended by more than 150 partners from the region.
Fortinet’s SAARC Partner Conference provided the Fortinet partner community with access to key marketing and business strategies, leadership, and information regarding specific customer solutions designed to help partners succeed in the marketplace. One key initiative for business growth introduced to partners is the vendor’s solution value proposition for Internal Segmentation Firewalling (ISFW), a complete, continuous, inside-out protection against enterprise threats.
The conference also highlighted the launch of Fortinet’s Cyber Threat Assessment Program (CTAP) that provides an important opportunity for partners to engage with customers and prospects to help ensure they’re not relying on legacy systems that aren’t effective against today’s dynamic cyber-attacks that occur across multiple vectors and stages. By offering a deeper analysis of existing or possible threats, customers are given a clear assessment of the risks to their environments, while Fortinet and its partners help prioritize actions to mitigate those risks, providing customers the peace of mind knowing their critical assets are protected.
The conference also awarded KBSL Information Technologies for its high business revenues for 2015 in Sri Lanka.
“We are excited to honor KBSL Information Technologies with the Best Regional Partner Award, based on their strong commitment to delivering innovative solutions that drive customer success,” said Rajesh Maurya, Regional Director at Fortinet. “KBSL plays an important role in transforming customers, across multiple industries, into more agile, connected and secure companies that can rest assured their most important assets and the assets of their end-users are protected.”
“The award is a result of our hard work and commitment in growing Fortinet Business in Sri Lanka,” said Silmy Ahamed, Chief Executive Officer, KBSL on receiving the award. “The technology excellence of their products combined with support capabilities has won many deals with leading service providers and large financial institutions. We will now extend our foot print by working with them on large turn key projects.”
