Fortunaglobal won two awards at the NBSQA, the premier ICT awards night, held at Galadari Hotel last week. Fortunaglobal won bronze, the only award in the media and entertainment category for the product ‘Fortunaglobal Media Mobile App Platform (FMMAP)’ and bagged a silver award in the financial application category for their middleware product ‘Transbridge.’
The applications have been used over the last three years and have assisted clients heavily in terms of developing a competitive advantage in a highly aggressive environment. The mobile app solution with Apple and Android mobile app solutions is being used by a leading media corporation in Sri Lanka.
This event was filled with glamour and excitement with nearly 500 guests attending it, comprising the cream of the Sri Lankan ICT industry. The National Best Quality ICT Awards (NBQSA) competition is an annual event organised by the BCS The Chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka section.
The competition consists of sixteen categories of software ranging from applications and infrastructure tools software to media and entertainment applications software.
The avowed objectives of the NBQSA competition are threefold: To provide recognition to outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations in Sri Lanka who/which have contributed to the development of ICT, to create a window to gain international recognition for locally developed ICT products and to improve standards and the quality of local ICT products and services to be able to compete in the international market place.
Fortunaglobal, a renowned name in the ICT market in Sri Lanka, has evolved to become one of the leading ICT solution providers and serves the most prominent corporates in the local market.
