Gestetner of Ceylon introduces two revolutionary multifunctional devices

Gestetner of Ceylon PLC yesterday introduced revolutionary versatile multifunctional devices to control the rising costs of printing, photocopying, scanning by embedding Ricoh EZ-charger and ESA-transformer.
The products were launched at the Cinnamon Lakeside in the presence of Ricoh Asia Pacific General Manager Ben Chong and Ricoh Asia Pacific Strategic Manager Chris Tham, who pledged their fullest corporation and support to Gestetner of Ceylon PLC.
Gestetner of Ceylon PLC has been a longstanding key player in the field of office automation in the Sri Lankan business arena. The stencil duplicator business is the origin of the brand Gestetner.
For many decades, Gestetner of Ceylon PLC has been the sole authorised distributor for Gestetner International until global business challenges provide an opportunity to Ricoh, one of Japan’s major office automation manufacturing companies, to acquire Gestetner, a UK-based company. This paved the way to leverage the advantages of both companies to bring in the world’s top office automation products.
The Ricoh C2003SP multifunctional device packs many features that distinguish it from other competitive models in the market. The ESA Transformer solution transcends beyond OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capabilities, allowing hardcopy documents to be scanned into editable formats such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Another smart solution plugged on to the MFP copier, the Ricoh EZ-Charger allocates resources including copying, printing, and scanning by setting quotas that can be unique to individual users or groups secured by a user ID. This EZ Charger solution enables organizations to monitor and control usage, and generate reports to reflect usage history at any time.
