HackaDev 3.0 – UNDP’s Youth Social Innovation Camp is back, with the aim of facilitating meaningful and sustainable participation of youth to find innovative solutions for current development challenges.
UNDP continuing its partnership with Dialog Ideamart, is calling young innovators to submit ideas on three challenge pillars, Water, Disaster Risk Reduction and Peacebuilding.
The Pre Hack Awareness Session introducing the challenges was held on Friday, 10 March, where the partners of the initiative engaged with nearly 250 youth participants who are eager to make a difference.
Submissions of ideas are now open until Friday, 24 March and innovators can send in their ideas by logging on to www.lk.undp.org.
HackaDev 3.0 – Youth Social Innovation Camp, where selected 100 youth will develop and demonstrate their prototype solutions, will be held on Friday 31 March and Saturday 1 April. The selected teams will be exposed to a module on technoprenuerial skills facilitated by CISCO Networking Academy, learning partner for HackaDev 3.0. HackaDev3.0 is supported by the Ministry of Disaster Management and UNV Sri Lanka.
UNDP and Dialog Ideamart intends to make HackaDev 3.0 the next key milestone in harnessing the combination of youth and innovation to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Sri Lanka and encourages young women and men to submit their innovative ideas .
