Microimage’s inaugural HR Technology and Services showcase, HCM Connect concluded recently with many highlights and groundbreaking innovations in the human resource software space. This event was attended by local and international delegates comprising Heads of HR, CIOs and CEOs. The award wining Software Company which celebrated 10 years in HR space last year showed case studies, new product innovations, best practices, partner driven services and comprehensive mobile application suites for HR.
The participants were taken through a very exciting round of presentations done by the Company’s key executives together with partners and customers. “We are delighted to share our vision in the HR Technology space with our customers, partners and the HR fraternity,” said Microimage HCM CEO Harsha Purasinghe.
Apart from showcasing the latest additions and functionality improvements of Sri Lanka’s number one HRIS product, the company also unveiled a new module for Occupational Health and Safety.
Microimage Head of Consulting Sujeewa Katugampola said, “Our OH&S module will provide all required functionality for workplace health and safety and related compliance. We look forward to continuously evolving this module by integrating it to other modules.” Another highlight of the product was the Talent Analytics functionality which is a people centric decision making tools which will enable organisations of all sizes to effectively manage their talent pool through comprehensive information with analytics offered through an intuitive user experience.
The sessions started with a key client of Microimage sharing his experience of using Microimage HCM on the cloud as SaaS. Bogala Graphite who operates the system shared the benefits and outcomes of using Microimage’s HCM platform which they deployed two years ago.
Showcasing the extensive functionality that Microimage’s HCM suite offers in the area of Integrated Talent Management, Chief Strategy Officer of Al-Rajhi Takaful of KSA, a leading financial giant from Middle East conducted a session themed Technology Driven Talent Management.
Another key attraction at this year’s inaugural event was the unveiling of the Microimage HCM Service layer by introducing partner driven services. The company together with its first partner in developing joint services, High5 Consulting, showcased the tool, 360-Executive Feedback. Vidusha Nathavitharana, Cheerleader, High5 Consulting shared the importance of Executive Feedback and how the newly developed tools facilitate organisations to implement and generate results out of executive feedbacks. “We believe 360-Executive Feedback will bring immense benefits to enterprises who want to continuously offer feedback to their employees and formulate development plans based on people’s strengths and weaknesses as observed by others,” said Nathavitharana. In conclusion, Microimage showcased its range of products developed for Mobile platforms with HCM for mobile smartphone’s and tablets. Purasinghe said, “We utilised our engineering capabilities of our other subsidiary Microimage Mobile Media to develop this cutting edge app for mobile platforms. We look forward to continuously evolving these apps bringing the best services and HCM Analytics to your hand held devices.”
According to Purasinghe, HCM Connect will become an annual HR event. “There is no similar event so far in Sri Lanka which showcases actual HR technology and related user experience. We believe HCM Connect will become the industry’s leading event which will fill this gap,” Purasinghe added.
