Hutch goes wireless at National Sports Festival

Hutch provided a quick and complete Wi-Fi solution for the press room attended by over 40 journalists at the three-day 38th National Sports Festival which took place at the Sugathadasa Stadium complex in Colombo from 30 November and concluded on 2 December, under the auspices of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The technical team at Hutch was able to assist the Ministry of Sports with a high end technical solution. The team at Hutch was able to provide the required solution within a couple of days in order to meet the requirements of the journalists.

The 38th National Sports Festival saw a participation of 1,200 athletes across all parts of the country, including those from the Northern and Eastern provinces. Winning the President’s Trophy and bagging 78 gold medals, the Western Province once again emerged as overall champions.
