ICT delegation meets Norwegian Ambassador

The Sri Lanka-Norway Business Matchmaking Programme (BMMP) officials of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), along with the representatives of 11 major players from the Sri Lankan IT industry who took part in the ICT delegation visit to Oslo, Norway in October, met with Hilde Haraldstad, Norway’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka at her residence recently.

Sri Lankan delegates were introduced to HE Ambassador and they thanked Her Excellency for the support provided to them. Delegates also related their experiences and the possibilities of entering into partnerships with Norwegian ICT companies. Deputy Chief of the Norwegian Embassy Jon Otto Brodholt was also present at this occasion.

The Ambassador thanked the BMMP, for helping the two countries build a dependable and advantageous relationship in business matchmaking since 1994. CCC organised this delegation in collaboration with Advance Business partner AS, Norway.

Financial assistance to the BMMP is provided by Norwegian Agency for Development Corporation (NORAD). BMMP also received the support of the apex body for Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and Sri Lanka Association of Software and Service Companies (SLASSCOM) in making this event a success.
