Informatics International re-launches new website

Informatics International, the software solutions arm of the Informatics Group recently announced the re-launch of its website that will highlight the company’s capability in Sri Lanka and in the International sphere.

The website was launched by Informatics Group Managing Director Hiran Wickramasinghe and Group Vice Chairman Hasith Wickramasinghe on 11 January.

Informatics Holdings Group Managing Director Hiran Wickramasinghe, said that the re-launch of the new website will be significant, as the organisation’s 30 year anniversary will be followed by this event,  which is the beginning of a host of several events and product launches expected to take place this year.  

“Informatics which provide innovative solutions, customized software and support services to various customers both from home and abroad is set to further expand its presence in the global market while increasing its client base in various continents,” said Hiran Wickramasignhe.

Amongst its many success stories are that of Informatics being the largest ATM provider in Sri Lanka which has contributed immensely in the banking and finance sectors. Informatics has installed almost 1,500 ATM machines across the country.

Recently Informatics was awarded two significant e-Swabhimani awards for Border Control software at the recently concluded e-Swabhimani awards 2012, organised by the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka.

Previously, Informatics had successfully implemented integrated border managements system for Fiji that will enhance collation of data at Fiji’s borders.

In addition, Informatics also has implemented their Border Management Solution at Mauritius Passport and Immigration office and has already made headway towards greater expansion in this region

“With a strong presence in Asia Pacific, Middle East and African region, the company will make a substantial investment in Sri Lanka in the years ahead particularly to introduce new products and to give a facelift to entire operational activities of the company,” Hiran Wickramasignhe stated.

He further affirmed that they will also facilitate in increasing the efficiency of their people which will include investing in people-centred activities such as development of talent and know-how , skills and behaviour, reward and recognition and other benefits.

In terms of their internal operations, Wickramasignhe stated that they will work towards increasing efficiency by examining and looking at how each activity could contribute more towards key objectives outlined for the year.

The group would also work on enhancing the benefits of their existing products and will also focus on building collaborations with valued partners in the industry.
