Intel recognises Singer All-in-One PC

Recently concluded Intel Solutions Summit – Asia Pacific, recognised the first All-in-One PC in South Asian region, Singer All-in-One PC. Intel Corporation – USA annually holds the Solution Summit for regions throughout the world.

The program is designed to train, support and position channel partners for sustained growth by supporting the current businesses and identifying new opportunities. Innovation is a key area that is discussed in this summit as many global partners are looking for new avenues to nurture their businesses. This year the Intel Solutions Summit – Asia Pacific was held at Bali Convention Center, Indonesia with an attendance of over 700 participants from 46 countries in the region.

Making the keynote address Intel’s Director Sales for the Asia Pacific Region Kamil Hassan recognised three products which revolutionised the market with its own innovations. The All-in-One PC launched by Singer in November 2011 was highly discussed and recognised for its uniqueness for using LED panel integration for the display unit and the main body structure of the PC helping user to have a clutter-less desks as well as a unique power saving technology that consumes approximately 60% less power than conventional monitors. During the key-note address a video of Singer Sri Lanka Group CEO Asoka Pieris was shown talking about Singer All-in-One PC and partnership with Intel. This was the first time that Intel recognised a product from Sri Lanka and the other two products were from Australia and Vietnam. Being one of the best innovations of the region, Singer AIO PC brought credit to Sri Lanka at the summit and it shows the relentless passion of Singer to bring in new products to the Sri Lankan consumers throughout its history of 160 years.

At a discussion held, Pieris said, “We are very proud for being recognised one of our products – Singer AIO PC during the key-note address of the Intel Solutions Summit – Asia Pacific. This was the first time a product from Sri Lanka was recognised and we were the first to manufacture an integrated PC of this nature in the South Asian region. We have been selling computers for the last 25 years and we are the number one in domestic PC sales and number one consumer durables retailer of the country. Our partnership with Intel over the last six years has helped us to develop market share very rapidly and we are certain to come up with new products to help the consumers who has been with us in our long standing history.”

A truly green computer available in the market, Singer AIO comes in two models for different user segments. The SIN-AH61 is powered by an Intel i3 2100 Dual Core 3.16 GHz processor with a RAM of 2GB (upgradable to 8GB) a 500 GB hard disk a DVD Rewriter a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 card reader and HDMI interface with Wi-Fi. SIN-D525 has a Intel Atom D525 1.8 GHz processor with 1GB RAM (upgradable to 4GB), 320 GB hard disk a DVD Reader, built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 card reader and supports Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n).
