At the Summit keynote, Intel’s reseller channel organisation in Asia Pacific Director Kamil Hasan outlined Intel’s focus areas for 2013 and beyond: “As Intel brings more products into the market in 2013, we want to enable the channel to be in the best position to participate and compete in the compute continuum, whether it be desktop and server products based on Intel’s newest 4th Generation Core processors, or the latest Ultrabooks and tablets.”

“With a range of new programs that Intel will be offering this year, we are committed to providing the right support to the channel to reach their customers,” Hasan further added.  The IT program is designed to help train, support and position channel partners for sustained growth, by both supporting their current business models and helping them identify and capture new opportunities in the market. Over the past year, Intel has evolved its training programs to deliver dynamic interactive experiences of new and emerging technologies and solutions, helping partners get closer to Intel’s compute continuum both face-to-face and online. Intel’s strong product roadmap and commitment to continuing investment in the ITP program has given partners confidence to invest in growing their own businesses.

The ITP program delivers information and resources to help keep Intel channel partners across the Asia Pacific competitive and enable them to take advantage of new product opportunities including the Intel 4th Generation Core processor family, latest Ultrabook innovations, smartphone and tablet reference designs and product momentum, Next Unit of Computing (NUC) opportunities and the latest in embedded technologies including digital signage and point-of-sales systems.
