IT Shopping Festival Unity Plaza 2013 to cater to local consumers and ICT industry

By Sarah Hannan IT Shopping Festival Unity Plaza 2013 will open on 2 September at the Unity Plaza Mall, Colombo 4.The IT Festival will be held between 2 and 8 September 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Unity Plaza, Sri Lanka’s only mall for domestic IT operators and for multinational giants, has been the premier location and total solutions provider for all the IT needs of consumers since 1984. A media briefing took place on Thursday 22 August at Unity Plaza to announce this novel concept. The event would be patronised by leading brands in the ICT industry with representatives from platinum partners also present at the event. The first of this one-of-a-kind annual event will showcase the leading IT brands and the latest technology on offer, in order to cater to Sri Lanka’s rising demand for quality IT products at affordable prices. By facilitating the exhibition at Unity Plaza vendors and brand representatives could easily provide an interactive experience to the consumer.
