ITCONNECT receives BOI status

ITCONNECT an Information Technology service provider in Asia Pacific with staff in offices across Sri Lanka and Australia, as well as a presence in the United States, China, India and Vietnam, was recently awarded BOI Status (Board of Investment Certification). ITCONNECT is a leading IT solutions and service provider in Australia coming under the BPOCONNECT group. The objective for ITCONNECT is to create a best-in-class delivery infrastructure to tap into the Sri Lankan talent pool and provide IT products, solutions and services to cater to the markets in Australia, United States and Europe. The agreement was signed between Sri Lanka Board of Investment Chairman Dr. Lakshman Jayaweera and ITCONNECT CEO Arjuna Samarakoon. Minister of Investment Promotion Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena handed over the certificate to Samarakoon and his team at ITCONNECT. ITCONNECT General Manager Salitha Dissanayake, expressing his views on this significant milestone for the company said: “We are delighted that our company has been granted BOI status. This status brings operational and financial advantages to us and it reaffirms our commitment to Sri Lanka and its growth. ITCONNECT has been making a steady growth trajectory year on year and has been expanding their operations globally. The setup and growth of its Sri Lankan team is to meet the requirements of their growing clientele that include a number of startup and fast growth entities which have similar values to the management of ITCONNECT.
