JIT Group receives ‘Gartner Recognition 2015’

In recognition of its Software Product Engineering and Outsourcing capabilities, Just In Time (JIT) Group a fully owned Sri Lankan ICT solutions and service provider has been listed in the 2015 Gartner Report for Leading Offshore Services Locations in Asia which was published by Gartner Inc – the world’s foremost IT research and advisory company consulted by large corporations, government agencies, technology companies and the investment community globally.

The report evaluates key considerations such as cost, infrastructure, language, government support, educational system, political and economic environment in the country benchmarking in the APAC region. JIT Group is listed as one of four local companies with delivery capabilities in Sri Lanka.

Reflecting on this achievement, JIT Group CTO Navin Seneviratne emphasised that whilst this was a testament not only to the unique capabilities and quality of the Software Divisions within the group, it was also recognition of the vision and longevity of the Group as one of the pioneering ICT companies operating in Sri Lanka since 1996.

He also further accentuated that as a company with worldwide patent pending for its BPM product iAgora, and furthermore with our Cloud ERP products in the pipeline JIT Group is now ideally positioned to take advantage of niche product engineering projects that Sri Lanka is currently gaining a strong reputation for. Similarly, JIT Group has plans to setup operations in Japan where traditional outsourcing countries such as India, the No.1 giant in the arena and Bangladesh are yet to make their mark whilst expanding current operations in Australia.  

As a member company of SLASSCOM, JIT Group genuinely believes that the drive to transform the Sri Lankan ICT industry into a $ 5 billion portfolio by the year 2022 is evident. A five-fold growth from current turnover will further thrust other Sri Lankan offshore and product engineering companies also into the global limelight in the coming years.
