Kingslake, Progress Software to conduct ‘Mobility Tour’ in Colombo

Kingslake Engineering and Progress Software will hold the ‘Mobility Tour’ to showcase new solutions on 6 June in Colombo.

Expanding on the Mobility Tour to be held in Sri Lanka on 6 June, Dr. Dharmavasan said that Progress OpenEdge is an integrated platform for the rapid development, deployment and management of standards-based and service-oriented business applications. “The latest release, version 11.2, brings you the power of mobile; a complete, modern and fully-enabled mobile application development platform. Organisations need to join the Mobility Tour and learn more about how it can help you grow.”

Kingslake CEO Duleep Fernando said that this would be a great opportunity for Progress partners and customers to preview the OpenEdge Roadmap and find out how Progress OpenEdge 11.2 simplifies development for mobile devices, exploring how mobile strategy complements modernisation strategy, as well as network with peers, Progress leaders and Progress OpenEdge developers. He said: “Progress and Kingslake are committed to your ongoing growth, helping you take your business applications beyond the desktop.”

Amongst the speakers at the Mobility Tour will be, Progress Software Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) Director of Marketing Bhupesh Lall, with over 15 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a strong focus on solving challenges faced by customers through the adoption of cutting edge technology, and will be speaking on current mobility trends. The next speaker will be Channel Sales Manager for South Asia Xinwei Huang who will present on ‘Why and how participants of the Mobility Tour can start building mobile applications’. In addition, Michael D’Costa will demonstrate the OpenEdge Mobile application development platform, its features and how it simplifies development in order to turn business ideas into reality.
