Lenovo strengthens marketing presence in Sri Lanka with exclusive distributor deal with Tech Pacific

Lenovo, the world’s No. 1 PC maker according to latest statistics from  Gartner and one of the leading PC vendors in unit shipments in the Asia Pacific region, is partnering with Tech Pacific (Lanka) Pvt Ltd., one of Sri Lanka’s top IT distribution companies, to sell and distribute the Lenovo brand to the Sri Lankan markets.

The partnership will further strengthen Lenovo’s presence in the Sri Lankan market and with Tech Pacific Lanka’s unique strength of an established dealer network of over 200 resellers, will further help Lenovo penetrate into all major towns and cities throughout Sri Lanka.

“Lenovo is appointing Tech Pacific Lanka as a distributor because of its proven record in creating demand among the key dealers across all markets in Sri Lanka,” said Yusuf Shiraz, Country Manager of Lenovo.

Tech Pacific Lanka since its inception in 2007 is a distributor for world-renowned brands of notebooks and desktop PCs, servers, AVG virus guard, GateprotectFirewall/UTM, appliances and CPPlus CCTV cameras and DVR in Sri Lanka.

“Tech Pacific Lanka has the ability and the bandwidth to provide a total service to dealers,” said Hafez Wahid, Managing Director Tech Pacific Lanka. “Our key strength is our quick turnaround time and our flexibility.”

Tech Pacific maintains a fully-fledged outsourced commercial warehouse in Singapore to cater to demand from key markets. In addition it will be providing total customer service and spare parts support for all Lenovo products from its state-of-the-art Service Centre in Colombo

The Lenovo-Tech Pacific Lanka partnership will further enhance Lenovo’s presence in the             Sri Lankan IT industry, further increasing demand and market penetration for Lenovo desktop and notebook PCs and other products.
