Metropolitan Computers rewards best ICT student at SLIIT

In support of the fastest growing industries in Sri Lanka, Metropolitan teamed up with the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) in awarding the best ICT student at the SLIIT annual convocation which was held recently.

E.Purnima Eashani Rodrigo bagged the Excellence Award in 2011 presented by Metropolitan Computers.

The best student was selected from among the B.Sc degree holders in ICT. The ceremony recognised the many achievements of SLIIT students in their chosen field study both abroad and Sri Lanka.

“As a keen supporter of education and career enhancement, Metropolitan Computers is pleased to be a part of this graduation ceremony. IT is a key sector of the company and we are always looking at lending a hand to young ICT graduates,” Metropolitan Computers CEO Niranjan de Silva said.
